Responsibilities:
As a Geometry Technician with us, you will play a key role in ensuring high quality in both product and process. You will work closely with production and contribute your expertise in geometry to create stable, safe, and efficient flows – from startup to series production.
Initially, working hours will be during the day, but may over time transition to shift work depending on the needs of the business.
In this role, you will among other things:
- Analyze measurement results and identify and follow up on geometric deviations
- Support production in daily quality work through troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Participate in analyses and improvement work related to production equipment
- Contribute to new product programs with a focus on quality, geometry, and robust solutions
- Work according to VCMS and contribute to achieving our common goals
- Ensure a clear flow of information within the team and collaborate cross-functionally
Qualifications and personal attributes:
We believe you are a responsible, curious person with a strong commitment to quality. You work in a structured manner, are eager to share your knowledge, and see collaboration as a natural part of everyday life. Continuous development is a natural part of the work – both for the individual and for the business.
We would like you to have:
- Experience in production and quality work
- Good understanding of geometric assurance and measurement technology
- Knowledge of tools such as CM4D, PC-DMIS, CAMIO, CAD, Teamcenter
- Experience with systems like Maximo and MS Office
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Basic knowledge of dmo’s and dmi’s
Meritorious:
- Experience with VCMS
- Green Belt certification
- Experience with DMAIC and structured improvement work
